05 zx12r my daily ride to work went 10.05 at our recent all bike meeting only the second time i've take it to the drags (bloody drag bike still not ready)
9 anything would have seen me ousted without a tech inspection, which a standard street bike wouldnt pass.
And ended up runners-up, betten by the bloke who owns the local Honda dealership, more racing experince and a hell of a lot more money than me.

Re: your ninjas drag strip times??
best was a 10 flat. 18psi boost. front wheel everywhere at the start then the rear wheel everywhere at the finish.
The next run it went BANG! The new motor, turbo and EFI is SOOOOOO much better, but i don't think it'll go much better down the quater unless i stretch it. I'm not doing that cause i like the corners too much.

Bikes make the world go round.

My old ZX7R ran a 11.4 down Hidden Valley a few years back.
Anyone ran a new ZX6 down the quarter?

Mate of mine borrowed one (stock performance wise) at WSID awhile back and managed high 10's straight up (Don't recall the exact times). He does have a lot of experience though.evilsim wrote:

I've taken my '08 6R (Also stock performance wise at the time) to WSID two or three times, only ever managed high 11's @ ~124mph though.

When I took my old 675 there I managed 11.3's, so i'll hopefully be able to take the 10 up soon.

Fark.....10 and 11 second laptimes! How many corners do these tracks have guys????????

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?
