Z1000 Black in 05?

I thought they were only coming out in the titanium colours?

Looking at the Kwaka website and it has an all black version that looks the biz

Agreed... It needs some reference to it's green heritage.

Have you seen one James? went down to Midtown today and sat on the 05 ZX6R, pretty impressive but dont like having to look through the screen at the speedo.

Just as I was turning in to Alisson st one of the lucky bastards that works there was on the blue 05 and turned in front of me. Nice.

Yeah I went down to Parra Kawa the other week and they were assembling one out the back. I went out the back and had a look at it and its black. Its supposed to look different in the sun. They had both the black and the titanium there. Neither do much for me to be honest.

The biggest surprise for me was the colour of the new Gaystreak, er....I mean Meanstreak. Has anyone seen one?! Holy shit - how embarressing! Im glad I dont have try and sell one of those. I think Ive seen the colour before on the first series of Hyundai excels that came out with those bright pastel colours. What irks me more is that the Meanstreak is great cruiser. It was my favourite, even moreso than the 2000. Now its ruined IMO.

Hey Kawasaki - its called a 'MEAN' STREAK!!!!

I find that the Kawasaki black is a somewhat dirty looking, very unflattering black, and as for that matt titanium? Please.... Who's idea was that?

Will reserve judgement for a year or so and give it time to grow on me.

Whilst filling up at Samford Caltex yesterday there was a bloke there with an orange Z1000 and it had 2 x staintunes on it, looked outstanding.

Thanks again to the gentlemen, nothing like being warned that there is a speed camera in the direction of travel. Gave him the web address of this place so hopefully he joins up.

They already did a black 04 model but that looks a little more black, if that can be said. I was going to grab a black one but the green...the green!

Hey Z1000 how ya going? Another Brissy rider to the fold, Welcome. I beleive they brought out the black with the red in it in 03 along with the orange and in 04 they had the red and green.

They have gone for an all black and a titanium colour in 05, someone correct me if I am wrong.

How do you find the Z1000 champ?
