I have, I fit them to all my bikes, I prefer the consistency of feel. To be honest, the brakes are improved far more by a change of pads (the standard ones are absolutely shite), I use EBC HH, they totally transform the bike. The lines (Goodridge) cost around $200 fitted, as I recall. Of course, once you improve braking power, you'll be wanting to uprate the suspension, which can then be better exploited by releasing more power, and so it goes on.....

How techmamicle do you have to be to change the pads? Like on a scale of 1 to 10... as I realise everyone has different levels of expertise/experience.

Or should I just get it done at the next service and therefore pay whatever price they want for whatever pads they have available?
