Flywheels KSRC Dyno Day! -23rd Feb.

Post by Flywheels MC »

EVENT: - Flywheels KSRC Dyno. Day
LOCATION: - 100 McEvoy St, Alexandria
WHEN: - Saturday 23rd February
TIME: - 1000HRS onwards
COST: - Free for all KSRC members, $50 for anyone else you want to bring
WHAT YOU"LL GET: - BBQ. Dyno. run with printout showing Torque and Power at the crank, gearbox, wheel and roller and an Air/Fuel reading from the
exhaust
Can also check clutch slippage, chain alignment, fork and shock performance and Top Speed if desired but must be specified when you
book your spot as it takes a bit more time to set it up.
CONDITIONS: - Time will play a factor so, although we are not limiting spots available, the first to reply will have priority. One bike each only please!
(Unless arranged beforehand.) To be fair to everyone if you have more than one bike, your second run will be after everyone else has
been through. Does not have to be a Kawasaki but you will get served (rightly so) if you turn up on anything else!

This has been on the agenda for a while now but we have been waiting for our head mechanic Rob and his wife to have their new baby. Now the little one has arrived safely we are back to full strength and can get this one off the ground.

Saturday, February 23rd has been allocated as it comes the week after the Road Race series and I don't think there is anything else on that weekend.

Now is the chance to find out how many small Shetland ponies MadKaw's bikes can croak out and to see who has Phar Lap horsepower and who's on Mr Ed!
(Red Dave, you can see if that over priced Micron you bought is worth the money ha ha!) :D

This will be great opportunity for everyone to get together and for us to meet a few more members and put faces to names etc.

Other stuff may be arranged for the day but haven't decided what so will keep everyone posted.

All interested parties please reply with what bike you will bring and if you have a time-frame you need to adhere to.

Have a great weekend all.

Nick

Nice one Nick.. and the date is OK with me.. :-)

As discussed, put me down for both my bikes... If its oversubscribed, I'll do the 10 first and if theres enough time I'd like to get the 750 on there...
If we get the 750 on make sure everyone has ear plugs, she's a screamer... even after repacking the muffler on the weekend.. :?

Just as well we are in a semi-industrial area then. I can hear the police broadcast now: 'All units. Screaming coming from complex in Alexandria. A lot of vehicles from the western suburbs in the vicinity....' Ha Ha! :D

Good question. They are supposed to be here late Feb. but there is no concrete time as yet.
That would be good to see though I agree...
