Re: '08' ZX10R we will BEAT ANY PRICE
Hi SF, interesting campaign, I hope it works out for you guys. At Flywheels we believe that the best price is not always the best deal, hardly ever is in fact. (I think I wrote that in another post yesterday!) What we do better than everyone else is listen to our customers and work with them to ensure their experiences here are pleasant and memorable. No dealer of worthy note will give a price over the phone or their final price without securing it with a deposit and a commitment to buy, this makes the 'Dutch auction' a thing of the past. If the customer is willing to buy, we will do the best deal for that particular individual and they will not leave disappointed. Anybody who gives out prices without securing the sale is setting themselves up to miss out on a LOT of sales, thats why we don't do it. There is nothing wrong with honest competition as long as it is fair competition so, Streetfighter, please call me if you have anyone claiming they have received a price from us on any bike as we will be calling you if the role was reversed. We will never lie to you or any other dealer that queries us and we would expect the same in return. Good luck and I hope you guys have a great holiday season and a good start to the new year.

Getting the best price is wonderful but......
I would always give my business to a dealer who is willing to stick his dick in the custard and give me his best price up front. Asking for the last shot when another dealer has already committed is a bit of a soft option I reckon. Just my 2c worth.....

While I understand your sentiment here and I don't really disagree with you its a funny thing really...I'm fanatical about service and the company that shows they listen and care about what I want will get my dosh (What I want is the best price too of course). What usually happens is I will shop around for a while and come across a retailer that really impresses me with their service (knowledge, friendliness, price...etc) and 9 times out of 10 that is where I buy the product. I certainly wouldn't go elsewhere for the sake of a few bucks...and usually this tactic comes from a shop that has no other weapon to use (ie service level etc).z900/zx9 wrote:When i bought my xr8 there where a few dealers that wouldnt give me a bottom line price so the one that did got the 45k.even when i rang the others back they were still saying come and talk to us,i said i am will you do better or same.No come and talk to us in person,i replied i thought i was then i had enough and went and spent my money with the first dude that didnt dick me around
I have built a very strong relationship with a shop here in NZ called Mt Eden Motorcycles and would always buy a new bike from them. I would look around to ensure I keep them honest but they have never tried to pull a swifty on me yet...and that goes a long way in my books.

When I was in the Air Force back home I dealt with Ian and Grant at Cyclespot in Takapuna. Have you had much to do with those guys?biggles08 wrote:While I understand your sentiment here and I don't really disagree with you its a funny thing really...I'm fanatical about service and the company that shows they listen and care about what I want will get my dosh (What I want is the best price too of course). Not really...I've been in there but they are one of the crowd who didn't really impress me...I think it's who you get on the day. My Dad used to deal with someone there but he's now in Tauranga and that guy has left Cyclespot anyway. I've found that every time I've been into Mt Eden Motorcycles I've been treated really well. In fact even before I ever bought anything off them some of the guys knew my name?! (Must have impressed them with one or both of my rides I reckonFlywheels MC wrote: When I was in the Air Force back home I dealt with Ian and Grant at Cyclespot in Takapuna.
