I'd recommend a Yoshi 4-2-1, preferrably in stainless if you can find one. The 4-2-1 configuratioin is especially good for midrange, while helping along top-end.

I have a Yoshi 4-2-1 on my 93 model ZXR.
Stainless steel. I have nothing to compare with it as I bought it with the pipe on. It is very loud with a great note.
