KSRC Member Drive

Post by MadKaw »

Things have slowed up on the new member front lately and we could use some new blood to replace those that drop away.
Any thoughts on how to attract new members.?
Theres lots of ppl out there but they either can't find us or don't join.

We are not a .com.au site so we are missing out on a lot of ppl who do search's using the Aus site options.

If you are on another site, please let ppl know about us. We don't want to spam other sites but letting ppl know about things going on here may help, like the photo comp, the track day, tech info, for sales and similar stuff. If you see a post on another site that ppl on KSRC can help with, let them know about us.
Put a link to KSRC in your sig perhaps.

and if anyone wants stickers to give out or put in shops, send me a PM with your address..

I am finding that the stickers seem to get a good reception or so far no one I have approached has been anythng but pleased to find that there is a group of like minded green bloods around the place. Didn't matter whether they were on sports bikes or other kwakas they seemed genuinely interested, whether that transfers to participation I don't know. I know that it was the I ain't speeding singlet I saw at Oran Park super moto many moons ago that set me off trying to find you lot. :D :D
If life is like a box of chocolates, why do I always get the laxettes?

why not get a .com.au domain and re-direct it to this site? cost about $18 (I think)

We have a ksrc.net.au domain that redirects to this site.

But as it redirects, it doesn't come up in the au search..

We should probly do it the other way, and have the site at the .net.au addy and redirect the current one to it... ??

We need to go and pay a visit to the Kosciusko Snow Revellers Club and ahhhhh "teach dem some manners boss".

Have any new members popped up after the GP. Rhys and Cameron must have accosted at least 100 or so. I was expecting to see a few new intro's but can't recall any.

Yes them KSRC bastards... :-)

We had a few after the GP's but not many considering the amount of stickers given out.
Same as th M/C show, we gave Nick a hundred + stickers that he put on the Kawi table and they all went within an hour..
The only new member we know that came from that was someone Frank tagged in the car park...

Which reminds me - The dude at Gingers Creek (Oxley) had a KSRC sticker up. He got it at PI, though I don't think it was at this year's GP

Will make a bit of an effort to hand out a few of the stickers you've forced on us over the years boss ;)
