get it from ebay if u want to save money. The thing is, green rear seat cowl is easier coz like u said, theres 2 types of blue.

i paid $220 for mine thru a dealer, it was there in 2 days, in the right colour... to me it was worth the extra $$ to not have the worry...

07 ZX14 - How fast ?? As fast as i want to go !!
Re: Buying a rear seat cowl from ebay
ended up buying mine from a dealer, prices have come down which was a suprice as i got it for $197, and not the $220 i was originally quoted. Bough tit from Image motorcycles in Gosford.
Fitted it up and the colour matches perfectly as expected for genuine Kawasaki parts and the fit is excellent, have read of a few guys complaining about the gap not being even the whole way round but i just fitted a washer to one side of the frame to lift the cowl up a tad on the bit that was fouling and she now sits sweet!

good decision... $197 vs trying to get it painted right...Vukie wrote:ended up buying mine from a dealer, prices have come down which was a suprice as i got it for $197, and not the $220 i was originally quoted. Bough tit from Image motorcycles in Gosford.

I bought my seat cowl from
http://www.partsdepotstore.com" target="_blank
i paid around $140 NZ delivered, and it arrived within 10 working days.
I've bought bike parts from them over the last year and their service has been excellent. They're also on Ebay
