Saw some recently, starting bid .99c (postage was $25), with only 9 mins left on auction. Was tempted but wasn't prepared to take the risk. Location was China. Probably knock-offs but I know that alot of this stuff is in fact being made in China and then we get slugged with hefty prices that are attributed to the R&D elements.
Has anyone recently bought a pair of Alpinestars gloves locally and do they know where they were actually made?
Has anyone bought or know anyone who has bought Alpinestars Gloves on eBay?

Matey,
gloves are like helmets ---
you need to try them on to see if they fit.........bloody painful if you get it wrong and not just in the wallet department

Re: ? - Alpinestars Gloves on eBay
I bought some s-moto alpinestars glove from ebay a few months back. Not bad for less than $40, quality is not quite as good as my rocket gloves.
Fella I bought from was based in oz, and the gloves seemed like they had been in storage for a while (read: smelled a bit funky), but they were still in good nick. The tag in the gloves says they are made in china, but I have no idea if they are genuine as I couldn't find a listing for theses gloves on the astars website, could just be that they are a few seasons old.

i just bought a set of Alpinestar SP2's, they fitted really well and gave me a very confident feeling when i put them on, then the label says Made in Vietnam.... so i don't think it matters where they are made, just get something u know is alright, generally aplinestar stuff is pretty good so u shouldn't go wrong!
