Welcome Arron :D ,

Tassie eh? You bastard. I love the place. I thought I was in heaven when I went there earlier this year.

Nice bike you've got mate. Dont be in too much of a hurry to jump on a ZX10, a lot of fun can be had on a 250. We had a bloke with us in Tassie on a ZZR250 who astonished the lot of us with how well he could ride it. I'll never forget it. He kept up with bikes a lot fancier than his through Hellyer Gorge and through the twisties out of Queenstown.

Welcome aboard mate...

Nice ride, used to have one. Took it down to Hobart last year, I would go a 600 or a 900 before even considering a ZX10 mate.. In all sincerity, I've seen over 10 written off ZX10's and heard alot of stories, and alot were by experienced riders that just hit the throttle abit at the wrong time, and bye bye brand new bike... 1 was back at the dealership after 4 hours, alot have been written off with under 500k's on the clock... I've been riding a couple years and I wouldn't concider myself a slouch, and as much as I'd love one, my brains still says no.. So if you do, just be careful.

Heading to Tassie on the 4th of Jan by Ferry, so might get to go for a ride around devonport/burnie cause we're staying the night at Burnie with the misses' father before heading to my parents in Hobart.

:D gidday Aaron, yer i'm with the other guys unless your surname is 'Slight' go for something a little milder than a '10. In Tassie unless you're a moto god you'll never get to use the full-on power of the '10 a nice zx6r or zzr600 will be heaps.
