Re: *WANTED* service manual for zxr750 91 model
sounds good..
actually, if you've some idea as to why the 750 will only rev to 9k on full throttle (while stationary), its constantly spitting fuel and shooting small flames every second out the pipe - my guess its running too rich - then you could probably fax the relevant information (ie carburettor/fuel system) to my work (scotts motorcycles) 9587 0033, if you have access to a fax machine? you'd be reimbursed for your time etc if you wish... my guess is you'd prefer a six pack of something!

Sounds like the fuel system so I have faxed the relevant pages...
Let me know if this is enough, I can fax other info if you need it.

Re: *WANTED* service manual for zxr750 91 model
had bit of time to look at the bike some more - seems it needs a head job, so to speak.
owner doesnt want to spend the money on checking valve clearances, let alone pulling the head off to replace valves and seats if it turns out the clearances are ok, so the bike will be getting looked at by a wrecker soonish...

Re: *WANTED* service manual for zxr750 91 model
well, as i said, the owner doesnt want to spend any more money on it than he already has - it's currently minus fairings after being forced off the road by a car and insurance refused to pay out for the repairs or something like that so we put it back together for the owner as something of a streetfighter... so after all that and with this possible headjob needed to get the engine running right, he's baulked at spending any more cash after the 1200 it cost him to get the bike back on the road post crash.Bogan wrote:It's being scrapped?
