mate ive been demoted!!
played on the field on sat.. they were impressed, tho my fitness let me down BAD....

the game in the rain..i pulled off sum exceptional saves....one handed diving etc... Bill nearly did a heart valve when i came off.. went down 3-1 in that game, but coulda easily been 8 or 9-1...

anyway..wot time and whats the addy for 2nyt??

Big congrats on your performance last night - you've set the bar for the rest of the season, now My g/f promised me a blowie if we won...

So everyone knows, due mainly to a horrid defense on my behalf, about 400000 shots were taken at Neka last night (him saving with hands, body, wrists and once with a flying header) and he put up a freakish goal-saving show... the other team were actually screaming in agony cos they couldn't get past Neka (one guy commenting 'you need to be chained down, mate!'). Highlights were our goal scored and Neka's ripper penalty save which may or may not have resulted in him sustaining wrist injuries due to having a striker belt a ball at him from close range.

We played really well for a team who's never played together before!

... that being said, we lost 2-1 and I didn't get a blowie.

Losing twice in one night?! Bugger.

just what i was thinkin...

i played goalie once, dude kicked ball, i put arm up (locked my elbow )

and busted my arm...

our doc didnt believe it was playing soccer and not riding the bikes...

you can have that goalie stuff neka, if your good, go for it

oh i wanted to play on the field, but they were short a keeper so i volunteered to do it at start of the season... then i couldnt get out of there...

now im out on the field as we picked up a GUN goalie for our 1st Div team... and the old fella who keep's for 2nd div cant play on the feild..mind u hes not a bad keeper!!

If any of you play and need an extra player please let me know, been having withdrawals since I left Canberra

we play on a monday at kidman park... we may or may not have a spot open?? depends on ppl's availability and injuries etc.... games are 14-15min each way...

might be handy to have another player in case...ill sus it with Logie bear,....

I played Div 2 Futsal and div 3/4 state league outdoor back in the ACT so im an ok player, though fitness is lacking a bit at the moment.
