...this tour, aptly entitled "Somewhere Back In Time", will revisit the band's history by focusing almost entirely on the '80s in both choice of songs played and the stage set, which will be based around the legendary Egyptian production of the 1984-85 Powerslave tour.

..and if you want to see proof that you can be butt ugly, not sing for shit but still be fuggin brilliant you can catch Motorhead at the Enmore on 5th October.
Iron Maiden will be cool. Bruce Dickinson still actually sounds not unlike what he did in the early 80's.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

Too many toys.......work is getting in the way!!!!
Oh, I'm not going to have to go to another fuggin Maiden gig...
let me see, I saw then on the 7th Son tour (wembly), then again on the no prayer tour (Donington), and again on the fear of the dark tour (Earls Court), back to Earls court for the Virtual XI tour and I think there was another one somewhere along the lines. I missed the most recent two as I was leaving UK for Aus on the first and they didn't tour Oz on the Dance of Death world tour.
Wonder if I'll get a discount for being a fan club member

I got tickets for the Melb show in the Fanclub pre-release. Will be my kids first gig, just like Maiden was the first band I ever saw all those moons ago.
