WSBK ZX7RR Restoration

Post by zx793rr »

Getting to a stage where the bike is starting to come together. Rolling chassis probably ready in about two weeks time. Just waiting on axels.
Here is a link to the photos and other GP (phillip island) photos from last year.

Let's not forget they're also the only Kawasaki to win the Suzuka 8-Hour, and the only Kawasaki superbike to win the Daytona 200 (several times, in fact) !

I'm not sure what the road going 7RR has. This bike came with two aluminium tanks. Dual filler endurance tank and a SBK tank. I have seen a lot of carbon tanks getting around for this bike though.

No, OEM was steel, you needed a kit carbon tank to save the weight. Only the K and M came with an ally tank as standard.

Maybe, but think what great raw material it could make ; I for one will be very interested if they release a 10RR for the WSB series.
