Guess I am not the only one affected
but
boy..is the forum acting up today

yeah definately something screwy here. Did someone do a database delete or something? some threads show up in the main list, but you get a "does not exist" error when you try to go into it. its a good and a bad thing if no one went and did this maliciously.
Fingers crossed that there's a weekly sql dump (yeah i know itd be a 3-5 gig file or so), i dont know about sql's capabilities, but oracle can kick off a backup on a live database, just freeze the main table while the backup starts, then run a "modification" table for all adds/removes to the database and then run a join back to the live table to synch in the modifications...
