It's the QLD Police trying to get the government to understand why they deserve a pay rise.

Reminds me of just about every day I spent working patrols. The only thing is, you don't see the coppers getting spat on, dealing with dead bodies, telling parents that their kids are dead etc in the video. Still, a good look at what goes on. Good find.

Hey Tanya... I believe you put this post here in good Spirits...

And that is how I have taken it... Even more so with the Bashing (Now in Induced Coma) of a Good Friend and QPS Officer Grant Samson..

I know Grant well, I was studying Diploma of Justice with him many years ago, when I to wanted to Join the Police Service... Luckily for me I changed my mind... I also spent many nights doing Volunteer work with him at Blue Light Disco's etc. And got to know him well... He's a top bloke. Who doesn't deserve what has happened.

I strongly support this pay rise that the Union is pushing for as I now know what Crap they put up with everyday... You have to be a very special person to put on that uniform everyday and enjoy your job.... The least we could do is pay them appropriately..

Yes there is the Good Cop..... And the bad one out there that ruins your day... But that is their job.."To enforce the law".

So please Guys and Girls.... Support them, I know they need it...

looks good to me, i knew it was a hard slog in a rather thankless job, but watching a vid like this (and the replies) helps make me appreciate them doing their job that much more..
