ZZR1200 (2004'sh model I think) Fairing rubs the radiator!!!
Just thought I would inform all those that ride one of these to check the clearance of your fairing from your radiator on the front, right hand side. Recently my father had issues with the fairing rubbing a hole in the radiator. It was quite inconvenient as we were touring the SI of NZ at the time...well away from home. There is a little bulge on this fairing that is supposed to give clearance to the radiator but on my dads it sits too high. Since this happened I have checked another ZZR1200 and it was out of line like my dads....better check yours if you have one of these bikes. - I've attached a pic of the area...sorry for the res it was a phone camera

Thanks mate for bringing this up. ZZRs also have a problem of holing the radiator from the horn brackets too.

Really??? Seems the cooling system on this bike was a bit of an afterthought huh?!? I'll let my dad know that too.bonester wrote:Thanks mate for bringing this up. ZZRs also have a problem of holing the radiator from the horn brackets too.
