Hi my name is Steve and I've recently gotten my Lerners as well as a ZZR250.

I'm finding it very difficult to find clubs that organise weekend tours or something of that nature.

I'm in Melbourne and would love to hook up with people for week ends away or even just day rides.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks
Steve

ur pointed in the right direction...

where do u want to go?

u missed the halls gap trip by abt a month (it was a hoot- members from ACT, SA and vic converged for a ride and feed (and a few beers)... we meet at SBK & GP for the same...

generally theres a few day rides both midweek and on weekends, with a few scattered weekenders, parties, and interstate trips....

hang about and keep ur eyes peeled mate!!

oh..and welcome...

Thanks Neka79 for the reply.

As to where I want to go, well anywhere actually. I just want to be with other riders, learn from them and go for rides.

I will keep an eye on this forum during the week for up and coming rides.

Thanks again for letting me know that I'm in the right place.

Thanks Red_Dave and Smitty.

Really looking forward to a few rides. It's one thing riding on your own and quite another in a group.

Hey black10z.

I love my ZZR. Funny thing is that everyone was saying that I'd want a bigger bike and I told them they were dreaming. That the 250 was more than enough.

Day one, I pull from the lights and thought I'd left the traffic behind me. I look right and there was a bloody Hiace van. I looked left for the old lady that was standing with her frame at the lights.

She wasn't there so I guess she turned left!

So I thought to myself "Gonna need a bigger bike". Roll on 14 months I say.
