Too small to ride a ZX10R

Post by Black Magic »

Hey everyone.

My bike was in getting a service last week and I fell in love with a ZX10R.

I had the usual problem I have (being 5'5 and 55kg) that my feet really don't touch the ground well. The seat is also very wide.(In the pic it looks like I am comfortable but my left leg was waiving around in the air  )

How much lower can these be made to fit a small person?

BM...

Unless you're an awesome rider, i'd be steering clear of that weapon. No disrsepect but they are a lot of bike.

I'd be looking for something s pretty - but more rider friendly.

By the one without the tacky stuck on flames, I hear they're a little bit smaller.

Thanks guys... I figured it was probably a little too much bike for me.
Everything I find that is a bit sportier than what I have is way to tall for me though.
Any suggestions?

Yes, I seem to be itching for an upgrade every 6 months!

The ZX6 may have to be it.... I just don't want to keep 'out growing' my bike every few months... very expensive hobby!

I have been told that I definetely would not get bored with the ZX6.

I'm 6 foot and 95 kilos and I'm not bored with my 6. The sixes are highly underated pieces of machinery and anyone who tells you that they need something faster is kiddng themselves....

I'm only 5'4" and love mine like there is no tomorrow

Ask Red Dave, he has seen me on it and he is right they are lot of bike and HP to handle. After almost a month and a half i'm getting used to it slowly, yes sure it has more power than i could ever use but it it is there just in case the time comes. As for the ride hight i don't have any problems there as such, one foot touches the ground at least, thats all you need isn't it

fun Factor 10+

Cant beat a 10 Just don't tell Phil
