update from 23 weeks :D

Post by kellz »

well im now 23weeks, so only 17 short weeks to wait..

a few weeks ago i found out that it is a little girl, so excited about this..

well everything is going fine, the belly has grown so big i can only just see my toes now lol..
the poor gecko tattoo has disapeared and i cant see it without doint=g a few weird bends and twisting lol but the good news there has been minimal deformation of the tattoo so far it still looks good so i have been told..

im so healthy besides a small bit of the flu which has gone now..

so i have a pram and cot on layby and mum is going crazy buying baby clothes i have put her on a ban from shopping for a few weeks as there is no way the baby will be able to wear all the clothes she has bought lol...

only complaints so are are back dscomfort from having 3 slipped discs recently and the pregnancy is making them feel bad again. and a sore hip from the pressure of the babies weight and an old injury....

have booked into figtree private to deliver this little princess.

my due date has been moved to august 30th now after the last ultrasound and everything is looking perfect so im happy...

but at the moment my stomach is feeling stretched and bloated lol but i know there is more of this to come :D

will put a pic of my big belly up soon...
also plan on getting some professional photos done in about 7 weeks...

No offence, but in my opinion, there is nothing more hideous than a pregnant womens stomach. I can't stand to look at them and when my wife was pregnant, I refused to touch it.

Mate it's a wondrous thing, especially when you put your hand on it and it tries to kick you off . I used to either sit or stand behind Ros, stick my hands underneath the lump and take the weight for a few minutes...she thought it was wonderful. I have to admit the first time around it was pretty freaky, but I loved it...

...it was probably the last time we had the kids under control as well :?.

Congrats Kellz, sounds like it's going well hello2.gif.

I have to agree RM - I loved seeing the cook barefoot and pregant, standing at the kitchen sink with a Seely Posturepeadic occy-strapped to her back !! ..... :P :P

I think it was our 3rd sprog that used to kick pretty hard, at 6 months or thereabouts you could see a foot  stretching that belly-skin right out !! Way freaky........

almost as freaky as when the missus spoons you in the middle of the night, and you can feel kicking in the small of your back  ..........now *that* is wild.....

Hope it all works out OK for you Kellz, have you started the huff'n'puff sessions yet ?? Don't worry about the demo where they use a footy instead of a baby, babies are way softer than footy's when you pop 'em out.....

Get plenty of sleep Kellz. In 17 weeks it's all over red rover for about 5 years.

God luck eh. You know we expect a photo of a tagged newborn

...and don't go to the beach, greenies are just gonna try and push you back out to sea..
