Sounds like a pretty god price. the zx7 are a trusty bike. getting a little old in the styling but still a nice bike.

If it is an RR then grab it.
Is the $4000 in Canadian Dollars.

Being in Canada and not being aware of current Canadian resale values and also not knowing the condition of the machine it is difficult to say from down here in Oz. If it were here in Oz, the dollars were ours and the bike was immaculate....then it is prolly worth $4000! HTH :)

exchange

Post by eastcoastrider »

the bike is the RR which i think makes it more rare and valuable,
the exchange rate is $1 canadian = $1.09 australian,
thanks for the feed back, might buy the bike tomorow!

It's not the exchange rate I was worried about. More the market conditions in Canada. In Oz, a neat ZX750N (the RR) is also rare, and would be worth perhaps a little more than $4K here. But in Canada $4k might be $2k more than it's worth over there?? Who knows? :)

Also keep in mind canada is frozen for half the year and they salt the roads so if it hasnt seen any of that sort of stuff it could be okay but if it has been ridden and gone into storage like they do every year and someone forgot to clean it properly before putting it to bed it could have anything growing on it.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?
