well, today I finally completed the transformation of my bike....

yeah was bit of a bummer, but hey, it can be rebuilt, even better ;) and i wanted new race glass anyway ;)

oh and fuck it hurt! Just got back from the after hours dr after getting a few stiches in behind my left knee... where the bastard footpegs attacked me ;)

but as we say, a walk away is a good one :)

other than the stack, it was a good day, bike was going well, on the fresh slicks....

oh and strika... i just burnt ya F*ckin pods..... because you were so cruel about the lovely colour ;) :D

WOW!! That looks like a pretty serious way to smash ya bike up.

At least you know now how to paint fairings, so the second time around should take half as long.

next time it will take a quarter of the time! as they will be brand new ;) and I now know how to paint ;)

and yeah, it was a pretty quick stack.... my back protector paid itself off today ;)

Glad your ok and hope you can get if fixed up quicky.

Your lucky you didnt end up with a cut like Kevin Curtain got from a footpeg. Through the thigh muscle all the way to the bone, Nasty.

hey sparkle, you should have popped over and said hi!

yeah, the forks are prob bent, it hit with enough force on the wall to pop the rear tyre off the rim and move it in a few notches to make the chain almost pop off the rear sprocket!

but i was lucky to walk away from it..... although didn't move for about 30 secs, which was concerning for everyone else.....i was just laying there winded like all hell, seeing stars and slowly gathering info from my extremities... making sure I could move etc.... got up once and then sat back down....before mustering the energy to get back up and take my helmet n gloves off.....

then a marshall stopped came over and gave me a hand to get the bike back up...

sorry to hear about your crash.

at least you are ok. Its a shame about your bike though and especially since youve just done all that hard work on it.
the only consolation is that you have bloody good photos of it - they will make excellent pictures on the pool room wall.

Good luck with the repairs.
