Akrapovic Exhaust for 05 ZX636

Post by portaz »

Hi Guys,

I am now ready to purchase this exhaust, and just wondering if anyone knows where I will be able to get a good price delivered to Australia.

Have checked on Ebay, and contacted JC exhausts, who seem to be the cheapest, and another on the net and just awaiting a reply from both.

Does anyone know of anywhere else?

Thanx in advance.

Daniel

i was looking at this mob last night
http://www.hardracing.com/Exhaust%20Sys ... apovic.htm

scroll down to slip ons/bolt ons

titanium akra for $445US
i emailed them about them and their prices are current. but i couldnt get a straight answer about shipping costs.
That info is probably on the site somewhere but it is a shit site.

Im probably going to go the akra or the yoshi rs5 in carbon with the cone end tip. So if you find any bargains let me know ;) and i will do likewise :)

yeh the bro's do look hot, but they are a bit to pricey. i think if I were to spend the money, id probably go for the hotbodies exhaust, that makes everything clean, and comes with integrated indicators and number plate holder.. however, the only issue with that exhaust, is its farken loud as... is the two bro's loud?

red dave and mr stompy: are you guys keen on buying? did you maybe want to do a group buy? theres a few places on the net that do all brands of exhausts, so im sure if we want to get different brands, we still might be able to work out a deal.

does anyone know how the numberplate or mudguard will mount on a yoshi or akrapovic?

the standard exhaust has 4 bolts as part of the canister that the mudguard/license plate bolt onto.

The yoshi RS5 and akra dont appear to have these fittings and there is no mention of it coming with a kit to replace these fittings somehow - the muzzys come with a fender eliminator kit apparantly.

Portaz - im interested in a group buy but usually they will want to post to the one address ie ship as one order which might cause us problems at customs.

they are pretty damn cheap.
any idea what shipping is worth?
i couldnt find that info too easy on their site.

if we are considering a group buy it might be worth firing an email off to Superbike supply to see how close they can get in price. you never know.

unfortunately, cannot answer your question about how it comes, but im pretty sure they dont come with those 4 bolts.

with regards to the shipping, it will have to be a condition that they are sent to everyone's own address.

shipping is around US$95 i think i saw somewhere... but we mite be able to get it for a bit cheaper if we buy multiple...

yes, we will definately try superbike supply for pricing when we have a certain number or what we are after.

I think I mite post a thread to see if anyone else is interested in getting an exhaust...
