2005 ZX10R

Post by James »

Parra Kawa have a 2005 ZX10R in the Titanium colour. It was being assembled today and being ridden this weekend before becoming the Demo on Monday.

The colour is not bad, but the finish is more of a satin finish. It doesnt really do much for me, but I reckon polishing the wheels would liven it up a lot.

I had the prescence of mind to take some pics with my mobile but I cant download 'em to my 'puter for some reason. If anyone has a phone that accepts pics I can send them to ya and you can post 'em.

there was one at the gp, didn't seem quite as stunning in the flesh as it looks in the pics, but i didn't have a long look at it cos the place was packed. still reckon it would be my colour of choice though.

They look impressive in the pics but I have yet to see the 05 anything in the flesh. Guy on the ZZR International forum just got a new 05 and it looks pretty nice in it's blue colour. Might have to go down to the nearest Kwaka shop and have a squiz.

Eh, I just wish they'd put more stickers on the bikes like they used to. All so plain big singular coloured.

I want one. I love the colour, I think it looks even better in the flesh than in the photos. I want one.

I have to agree with Neka, The occasional sticker is ok, but the extent of stickering on some of the bikes out now is a bit, well, cringeworthy. Half the reason my first two bikes were nakeds was i didn't want stickers, the other reason was i was nervous about having a faired bike and being on my L's & P's.

Now i've got fairings, but f/a in the way of stickers :D

Saw the titanium today. Wasn't all that impressed. Was pretty nice though I must say but it doesn't look as spiffy as it does in the pictures.

is it only the colour thats different?

On bikez.com the 2005 is rated a better bike than the 2004 but I didnt think there were any changes besides colour.
