Some Really Tasty Old Zeds

Post by Gosling1 »

these pictures were sent to me by a bloke in Japan. They really like their old Zeds over there !!!

All these accesories are available straight over the counter from the *many* bike shops over there that cater to the Older and More Refined customer....

not to mention the brake discs or the rims, i wouldnt be surprised if one or two of those bikes are carrying a pair of Carrozzeria or Marchesini.

they are cool..but with the amount of mods..well its just the frame , motor and tankthat are "old"..the rest of it is modern- wheels, brakes, zorst etc....

makes ya wonder why change it so much....

mind u..if they brought the new z1000 out looking like that 3rd one...id jump on it...

I *bet* they sound nice.......those exhausts are just *magnificent* I reckon. No idea on price, you can actually buy everything you see here over the counter in Japan.......all the *aftermarket* stuff is actually specifically designed to fit standard Z frames.

I don't know if they are R1 brakes froggy, they do look similiar - some of the other calipers used look like normal Ducati Brembos as well ...

The site links for all the good accesories are pmc.com.jp, and doremi-co.com, but check on Google as well.........and its all in japanese :? , but the pictures  :P

Get it over the counter here.

For Aussies just drop the last two zeros off the yen price for adjusted dollars.

My Japanese is a bit ropey but it looks to me that you can get a zed stylee
tank/side panels and a ducktail in originalish colours for about a grand Oz which should fit a ZX12 or similar.
