Thank god for crash Knobs....

Post by Lozza »

.......cause I was taken out by a friggin scooter!!

He must have failed to see my indicator flashing to say I was turning left; he must have also missed the fact that I was slowing down.

Thank god for the crash knob, it took all the damage and the only mark to the bike in on the exhaust.

On the up side I was very impressed that I managed to pick the bike up all by myself. :D

My knee hurts like hell, but the cut will probably leave a sexy scar.

Stay the right way up guys......and avoid a scooter missing a mirror, indicator and paintwork.

Thanks guys.

Kelly you should invest in a set, they sure saved a lot of heart ache...I was preparing for the worst when I pick it up and was totally shocked when there was no damage.

So how long have you owned your bike now? So far it has been nearly stolen and run into by a scooter..... I think you should get a catholic priest to remove the evil spirits :) hehe

Great work though, I havent dropped a bike recently, but the crash knobs have already helped me avoid damage a few times...

I Know I know....I was thinking this morning about all the dramas I've have since I brought it early October. What annoys me, is the damage that has been done, has been caused by others!

Bugger! Hope your knee is Ok soon! Oggys are great. I dropped my ER6F when it was about 6 weeks old and the only damage was the clutch lever (very impressed.) Chalk it up to experience.... everyone else on the road is out to get us......

Oggys are worth their weight in gold! My bike went down fairly hard a few months ago, after it stalled in a u-turn on the side of a hill, and there was no damage to it! . :prayer:

Lozza, glad to hear that both you and the bike got away with minimal damage. :supz:
Cheers,
Anne
