my day at Warbie

Post by nobby »

Around the 15th of November I had a little health scare and finished up spending a few days in Dandy Hospital, anyway as a result of not taking care of what I have eaten or drunk for the past 50 + yrs I now have a healthy diet of tablets to swallow every bloody morning and have been told by my Doc that no 2 wheel action for 2 weeks... (back in Hospital Tuesday for Angiogram and maybe a stent so nothing to serious..... )

Anyway Trish (my very long suffering partner) decided to give me a day out today and drove us up to Warby for a walk along the river and then a sit at the cafe to have a low fat, soy milk, chai coffee (yeah I know)

You just don't realise how much you miss the bike until you not allowed on it, so too those of you that may have made it around Warbie today thanks for the tunes .. shit the day was so nice even the Honda's sounded OK..

Funny though.. I did a sort of walking survey and the majority of bikes parked into the gutter were Ducs, don't those guys ever ride em?
