Ute Drivers

Post by Paulie »

I know theres probably a few ute drivers on here but I find that the majority of guys in utes are the most arrogant drivers on the road! For instance this afternoon I took a hotlap down to wisemans ferry, just after Glenorie I got stuck behind a dude in a ute so I kicked it down a few gears and overtook him (he was doing about 80kms at this stage and had been for sometime). So anyways, after overtaking him and pulling back onto the correct side of the road I backed off a little and notice that the dude in the ute has started closing the gap.. so I sped up naturally and was sitting on about 140kph and the dude was still gaining on me and proceeded to sit on my ass!. My issue here is that I didnt overtake him straight away because I wanted to see if he was gonna nail it through wisemans and once I'd been behind him for a few minutes with him sitting right on the speed limit I overtook him. It kinda shitted me that he tailgated me, I mean i ranged 120-140 constant speed most of the way there before I turned off down some other road (cattai or something) and he sat RIGHT on my ass. The only reason I turned off was because he was stressin me a little and I figured that If something happened the prick would run me over having no room to slow down.

I just find that its very often the guys in utes who try and race you at traffic lights and stuff. My girlfriend was trying to get onto the M4 motorway the other week at James ruse drive and a prick in a ute fully boxed her out so she couldnt get into the turning lane-by this I mean he sped up so she couldnt go in front and then he hit the breaks so she couldnt go behind. She had to follow James ruse to parramatta rd and then get on it off silverwater road. Sorry if some ppl here have utes, I'm just having a rant and I'm sure that there are some courteous ute drivers out there-one moved over when I was splitting yeasterday so theres one I guess.

Anyways sorry for the long winded rant

P-plate driver blows 0.225

An 18-year-old P-plater has been caught in Sydney driving with a high range blood alcohol reading, police say.

The Werombi man was breath tested about 2.30am (AEDT) after police noticed him driving a ute dangerously in Camden, in Sydney's south-west.

The teenager, a P1 provisional licence holder, submitted a breath analysis reading of 0.225.

The 0.225 reading would be four times over the limit for a fully licenced driver.

P1 provisional licence holders are not permitted to have any alcohol in their system while driving.

The teenager's licence was immediately suspended, and he was charged with high-range drink driving.

He is due to appear at Camden Local Court on December 13.

I drive (very rarely) my HR ute, and I drive a Hyundai Excel. Guess that makes me twice as bad. Mind you I think dickheads have moved on from Hyundai Excels onto things that actually go.
