I'm freakin out seein all these cracked frame threads especially in zx-10r.net, hope it doesn't happen to me :(

not my bike thank god (ive a zuki not a kawa remember?)
but it was nicked from a thread on gixxer.com about k5 gixxer thou's having their frames shatter upon impact with hard objects. thought some here might find it interesting. no real detail was given on it unfortunately.

Ouch that looks like an expensive fix(if possible).
Mike if this was your bike you would be walking for longer than you are now, If ever :wink:

I remember hearing about the GSXR1000 frames. From what i can remember they didn't need a hard impact to break. One guy in the US went around a corner very hard on the brakes and the front parted company with the frame, sounded a bit sus but then again anything is possible when they keep shaving the weight off the frame.

That pic has been floating around for 2 years now :o the guy that had it was doing monster wheelstands & bringing it down that hard :? hard & fast like a mouse trap
