Back from the GP.!!

Post by MadKaw »

WE made it back from the GP in one piece.. I now have a couple of days off to recover and get my liver, lungs and brain back in order....
I'm typing this with a bourbon in my hand though, so it may take an extra day to recover.. (I did just drive for 2 days straight with a 2 year old in the car..:-))
What a great weekend and great bunch of people.!! (what I remember anyway..)... Luckily I took lots of pics..
The t-shirts looked great and we certainly had a noticeable presence, especially after Friday when Neka tagged everything in sight...:-) Then Mick brought the sign out on Saturday to add to the colour, it looked tops, pity everyone wanted to sit in front of it on race day or we may have made TV... or not (I don't think Kawasaki were the focus any coverage considering there result.:-).
I'll post the pics later... theres some good ones and some not so good...
I've attached one below... Its Ronster and a couple of his mates.. They said the t-shirt excuse won't stand up court.

For those people that have PM'd me about the T-shirts, I have a few left and not in the sizes and styles you may have asked for. I will try to sort it out tonight too... If theres enough wanted we could do another run..

We also have a KSRC T-shirts signed by Nakkers and Hoffers, one signed by Nakkers, Hoffers and Stauffer (didn't he kick arse in the 600's) and signed posters of both Nakkers and Hoffers. If theres enough interest we can auction them of for some additional KSRC fund raising. I must thank Brett aka Pontikat for getting these signed for us... oh, and I also must thank him for pushing the pram back to the car at the end of the day, I would have done it but.... :partyman:
I think he liked the fact my son was shorter than him too...:-)

Colour me green with envy. Pun intended. I really wish I could have been there. I really will try next year.
Also I would be keen on getting my hands on a t-shirt if another run might be on the cards.

Dave, I'm with Ian... why not stick the t-shirts on eBay, that way we may be able to get some "international" recognition and members of the forum, plus others can bid on the t-shirts.

As for the posters, I reckon you should send them to the hard working web master.

We did a couple of shirts for Reece using those iron transfers.. They won't last long but seeing as he'll grow out of it soon it doesn't matter..

He had a "My dads Faster", an "I'm not speeding", both with the KSRC logos and he had a "My Dads a Junkie" with the TrakDaze logo on it..
didn't get to see most of em as it was too cold.....

I wish I had a pic of Brett pushing the pram with Reece in it holding the umbrella in jousting mode... He got a few people on the way out too... that was funny..:-)
