Anti Hoon legislation catches drivers

Post by Smitty »

in todays Age site.....

In an incident early yesterday morning, police stopped two cars illegally racing on Pascoe Vale Road, at Meadow Heights, in Melbourne's north.

The vehicles were being driven at 140 kph in an 80 kph zone, and were seized for 48 hours under anti-hoon legislation.

The 38-year-old woman driver of one vehicle and a 33-year-old woman driving the other car are expected to be charged later.

Police also intercepted a car early yesterday driving at 187 kph in a 100 kph zone along the Eastern Freeway in Kew.

The driver, a 23-year-old Templestowe man, will be charged in relation to exceeding the speed limit and driving in a dangerous manner.

...sheeeshhh :?

Why do you think all the school mums have 4*4s - coz their hubbies know how silly they'll go in anything remotely sporty.

I'll admit it, i lost my licence for speeding.

176km in an 80 zone.

The only funny thing about it was when the cop car flashed his lights at me, so i flashed mine back 8) He was a radar on the road facing me.
