'box trouble zx7r
has anybody who rides a zx7r had any complaints with the 'box? for some reason 4th gear decided it wanted to throw in the towel on me. after 3 weeks waiting for the gears from japan and a clymers manual as my bible all is well... apart from some minor seepage and a few little vibrations. but i did save myself alot of money in labour costs =).

Given enough hammer, or a sufficient sprinkling of random manufacturing defects back at the foundry, any bike's gearbox will spit something out the side.
If a particular model has a design flaw in the gearbox, it'll develop a reputation for it by the time bikes start reaching 10-15,000km, max. That didn't happen with the ZX7...

box trouble
well very coincedentally, the bike is a '97 and it had only done 12000 when i bought it and it crapped itself at about 16000. im always the unlucky one =(. it was the next step up from my rgv 250 at the time, i was too scared to get up it for the rent.
