Hi All!
I'm new here but I recognise a few "Names" from various forums and from Bikers Anon stuff, I'm in Sydney and usually ride with the BA (Bikers Anon) group on my Ducati 749 but I also have a ZZR600 Track bike which is why I've joined here, some of you may recognise it as it's done the rounds a bit since Troy Bayliss raced it in '94 (I'm not worthy! ) my next jaunt on it will be this coming Sunday at Oran park, maybe see some of you out there?
Paul

From memory that bike ran WP stuff when Bayliss rode it Phil not Ohlins! It also revved to 16,000 rpm reliably too. It was one of the maddest sounding 600's ever to go howling down the chute at Phillip Island. I still know who might have some original bits from it laying around.

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

It has a Ohlins rear now, dunno about the motor though as the previous owner blew it up it now has a 2000 model ZZR engine, still goes good though!

thats not what steve cramer told me
supposedly, baylis, dean thomas and damon buckmaster all used the same shock set up. secret was it is longer than the stocker to give the rear more ride height (along with ground clearance etc.........)
i've got a photo of the bike he shard with dean thomas at the motul 300 in 94 and i'm sure it had ohlins.........*starts digging around in old photos*
Hmm, could only find this pic of Dean Thomas's zzr.

Bayliss rode two different ZZR600's in 1994. The later part of the season was on Cosways bike from memory! So I suppose their could well be two different Bayliss Spec ZZR600's around! I know one ended up in Perth.
