I'm thinking of going for a day ride on one of the not-so-busy weekend. I've been to Dandenone range few month ago, it was a nice place to rid just wondering if there is anywhere else near eastern suburbs.
since i'm often busy at weekend...so it's best to be some place that i can just jump on my bike and mark around then comback within same day..
This time of year, I like the trip through Kinglake then either up to Yea, and back through the Black Spur to Healesville, or just shortcut across to Healesville and do an up and back on the Spur. Only takes about 5 hours from my way, so if you live up there already, it should take a lot less.

Thanks for the reply Tenoq, Just quickly checked Kingslake's website.. seems like a great place to go. Felt sorry for myself that i never know these places
Closest nice ride from SE suburbs is Arthur Seat - Redhill.
But I rather tucked up in my warm bed this time of the year
