I have the first one.... its ok.... very hard to read without falling asleep though.... and whatever you do ... DONT pay for the dvd... it is quite possibly the worst instructional video I have ever seen barring none..... and that includes all

That said, it is a very good book with some eye opening information in there.... Stuff that deep down you kinda knew, but had never really considered ...

...and some that goes against all you "knew"...
to be honest I think the only SAFE place to test out some of what it teachs is the track....
It works no matter where you ride but to LEARN it, go the track...
Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD

doing the school helps to understand what the hell he is talking about in the book as well.

I reckon it can be a bit hard to read in places but very worthwhile though.
I think he could of written that book in point form and then it would of been pefectly clear...

Having read both books and seen the video (well, the bits I didn't fall asleep during), I still say that Sport Riding Techniques is a far better book.

Yeah, all of the 5 sessions in Level 1 of the Superbike School are straight out of the second book...and are much easier to understand when you've been able to practice them at the track.

Read both, so agree totally. There is also one other, which is quite old, but also a very worthy book! If I remember the name, or find it in the library at home i'll post it.

Once again, I have to say that I am not a fan of some of Keith Codes practices. Brouggy has Australianised it to a certain extent, but still teaches things a little too codee for me.

I still reckon that you are better off spending the extra school money on having a decent A grader tutor you at a track day! One on one! They will teach you more in a day than the school can in a week I reckon.

There are stacks of guys who would do it too. Just ctc one of the racing clubs and I'll bet you have a decent response.

yep its worth a read.
you may get only one thing out of it or you might get 20 things out of it but you will definately get "something" out of it.

for me it all (well part of it) clicked one evening ages ago on a winding road in the pissing rain.

i was shitting myself thinking i was going to crash pretty soon and i remembered back to some stuff i had read in the book.
relax the arms, power on in the cnr early blah blah. i actually ended up going much quicker, stopped crapping myself and despite the rain had a pretty good ride.
