Brakepads, easy to replace on ZX6R?
Hi guys, just about to chuck some EBC pads on my bike (front) anyone done it before? Is it tricky or easy? Looks like all I need is an allan key.... is it as simple as it looks?
Reason Im asking is that if I start and f*ck it up, I will be stuck at home (dont own a cage)....

It's fairly simple, when you doing it? I've changed bike pads a few times and am happy to help. Will brink copious amounts of tools, and refreshments. Does Jim mix with Pepsi Max?

Another hint, have a g-clamp to help you compress the pistons back in.
Also if the pads have never been changed in your ownership, get a o ring kit together for your brakes so that you can take calipers apart and replace o rings/rebuild the calipers if need be. Only cost $15 max per caliper to make sure you've got all the right seals together in case it turns out they are farked.

Yup, easy peasy....
1. Remove pins
2. Remove springs
3. Remove old pads
4. Push calipers back in with flathead screwdriver
5. Put new pads in
6. Fit pin back in and sqeeze brake (to stop the pads moving when pushing the spring back in).
7. remove pin
8. push spring in and fit pin back in
done.
