Why do they have a left and right hand gear lever shaft? :?

The shift is a hang over from catering to people used to Pommy bikes with RH shift .
Some old school racers prefered the RH shift so if a Jap bike had race pretentions they had the straight through shaft . TZ Yams had it for a while . Alternate shift patterns too , to really stuff you up :lol:

Received some more bits today and made some progress. :)

New fork chrome inners, shocks,seals and tapered head stem bearings fitted.

Intend to refit motor minus the heads this weekend. :kuda:

Had crack at lacing the D.I.D wheel rims....pretty chuffed with the result. :D
