There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

Yeah Phil, the previous was a very meticulous owner, and apart from the kilometres, it's the best one I have ever seen. And it really is a bit nasty to carve it up. However, if you forget the fact that it is neat for it's age, and just rememberr it's age (It's 6 years old in SeptemberPhil wrote:i see what you mean by not leaning it over more than the side stand![]()

I may keep all the original stuff rather than sell it off, so that once finished I can reinstate it's former glory, and sell it as a complete original, or a naked with the orginal gear!
And don't worry Phil, thats the last time while I own it that you will see the tyres leant over that far. I don't ride anywhere near as hard as that!
Billy, The brakes are the Tokico 6 piston Jobbies. Same as on the 7R. Very soft lever feel, but loads of power and great feel. Has yours the same?? Or is yours a later one with the different calipers?
I have seen what Plas does to that little 636 of his. And he doesn't rev it hard enough, so it's probably got glazed bores, or a lip at the top!!!!

Same on mine , 02 has Nissin 4 pots . Would be interesting to know why they changed , cost or performance . Both seem to work well .Strika wrote:

I took an hour an a half for lunch today, and washed and polished the 9 just to see how clean it really is! Here is the results.............
BTW, in the close up of the left hand side panel, it's not marks on the fairing, but rather, the glossy finish reflecting from the concrete path!!!!

I have said it before, you are welcome to ride it when......A.You can afford to pay for the consumables. B.When you can afford to pay any crash damage. C.When you are within 7% cut off of my times, just like qualifing.diesel wrote:OK OKStrika wrote:You could buy the car, the shoe, the ship or the iron with that Vince,......... but not much else!diesel wrote:Will Monopoly money suffice?
i'll just ride ya race bike for ya then. and i'll even let u put tyres on it as needed.
So- Broadford 63 + 7% = 67 seconds or a 1 minute 7 seconds in your terms Vince.
Phillip Island will be 1'46" + 7% = 1'53"
Eastern Creek 1' 44" + 7% = 1'51"
Let me know when you are knocking on those times and I will get it prepped for ya, and i will even throw in the first tank of fuel for nothing!!!!!

Ooooh, that's a hard one Neka!! I think from memor 1'13". But it was years ago, so who knows now. Let's say a 15 to be safe, and that would make it......+7% =1'20"....But nah! A 1'20" around Lala is going down the shops to get the milk isn't it??????
Too much water under the bridge??/ Maybe I am close I dunno!!!
