Admittedly the bars were your aluminium tube racing style and may not be as strong as the stock type.
I'd prefer the ones that clamp your wheel down as they don't put any load on the bars or compress the forks..

Get a deal on these and I'm in..!!!
Grumble, another great invention, but I'd probably have to remove my hugger everytime I wanted to use it. :(

I have seen one fitted to a late model gixer and it just slipped straight under the hugger, it was more of a problem with trailers designed for the tie down points at the front and none at the back.

wouldn't b that hard 2 knock 1 of them up......as 4 the front, i actually put my tiedowns round the lower triple clamp....little bit 2 get in there but snapped switch blocks r dear compared to an extra minute or 2 feeding a tie down strap thro sum wiring & shit

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but is it $25 a set, or each?

get stuffed and go buy me some now!

I never said they were shit, just that I like the idea of using the wheel ones.
At the moment I use the old style handlebar straps which work fine just thought I'd help out and put my name down for some of these because I can always use them to strangle you in your sleep at the gp if nothing else.
