it has been done. i've seen a picture of a turbo'd, zx12'd, zx9r. It was a crazy looking thing. there must be info about it on the net. this thing had the standard zx9 fairings on it so i've no idea what mods had been done to the frame underneath the fairings. i think it is in the UK.

from memory it is red with an extended swingarm...

have you googled it?

If the zx9 motor fits in the zx7 and the zx12 motor fits in the zx9 does that mean someone could do a zx7/12?

dead right mate, I am astonished it hasn't already been done.......

and you know, I am sure that in one of the very early Pommie reviews of the ZX7R, the 'techincal' section referred to the 7 motor being a 'developed' version of the ZX6 motor.........with the same external specifications !! (You know what a bunch of anoraks the pommies are.. )

so logically, a 12 motor should be OK to fit into a ZX6 frame, with little or no other modifications.......

can't wait to see the first one appear in 'Streetbike' :P :P

Hrmmm.. Maybe greg would like to combine bikes.

My frame, we'll glue his fairings on, and his motor..

...and i'm "suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure" the zx6 was develiped from the zx2! so then, why not a zx2/12??? theres no substitue for cubes, therefore what could be better that a 600% capacity increase. obviously it'd need a turbo and nitrous.

zedx, heres some nitrous links:

12R engine, does the mounting points look simular to a 9R?

The head on it is huge, how does that compare?
