I've been with Shannons for 7 or 8 months now and they were much cheaper than the others for me... I also made a claim after being with em for only 1 month and it went fine..
Colette, they asked me if I was in a club and I told them about KSRC. I had quite a long chat with em when I took out the policy...

Did they offer a discount?MadKaw wrote:I've been with Shannons for 7 or 8 months now and they were much cheaper than the others for me... I also made a claim after being with em for only 1 month and it went fine..

I just filled out the online quote, got referred to talk to them, and the quote they've given me is $660, which is $400 less than I'm paying now!
I'm swapping! Otherwise I wouldn't do this commercial!
Thanks Mick! Champ!

Did you ring them, or get a quote online Mick? I'd try giving them a call, the woman I spoke to was very helpful and seemed as though she was working hard to get me the lowest possible price.Ratmick wrote:Umm, $1053 for Shannons Comprehensive Cover. WTF!!!!
She gave me one price, then clarified a couple of things and gave me another lower price!

Personally I wrote that I rode regularly, that the bike was under finance and that it was locked in a garage all the time, quote was $1599 from memory.
Might try again and see if the bike being under finance makes a difference.
Oh and put the value as 5g.
