Unless you are a track regular, I say make it stand out a bit from the average 8)

This is a good point, can I include rider training in the 'go' category ?

I'm with matchan and some of the other's here. Unless your into drag racing most of us are never going to use anywhere near the potential of most of these things.

If you were going to spend bucks you probably should spend it on training, suspension or looks.

Then again, there's no substitute for horsepower.....

Thats not a bad idea at all. But I can't help but fiddle when I know that I can make her stop, go, or corner better. Even though I know that the bike is above my current limits.

heres an interesting question...does "go" include "stop" and "handle"???
if so, im guilty..i did brake upgrades (braided lines, and wave rotors)...mines also had terry hay suspension work done...and yes its "go" but on a different level to just pumping extra ponies....

ive also got a chain conversion (520 race) but that was cos i couldnt change from original gearing, and i wanted better acceleration (off the line, out of corners) and easier wheelies....

the 1st thing i did to mine was "show" tho..carbon bits etc...now i cant b fuked doin it upo again til i re-spray it...

hmm reminds me
there is a bloke in SE Melb who has a shitbox grey primer 15yo Honda Civic
with a turbo Ford Cosworth Sierra engine (ex Dick Johnson Racing) in it
who gives blokes in Porsches WRXs FPVs HSVs and Ferraris..nightmares
gives bikes a hard time too.....
well it should be 400+ hp

the Civic?
it has all the good gear..brakes suspension
the giveaway is the rollcage
GOTTA LUV the 12R!!

Man, he would have had the body worked to hell to keep that engine from twisting the frame like a pretzel. mind you the heavier engine would help keep the front wheels hard on the ground for traction.
