Re: Pics of my project so far..
To powder coat the frame , swingarm and both wheels was only $250.. Which i think is cheap as.
Nearly got the bike back together now, just waiting for my fairings to get painted, then im done.. I'll get some nice pics when its complete..
And cheers for the headers phil, they worked a treat... Later kids..

Yeah they came up lookin pretty good phil, cheers mate.
As for the powdercoat, they came up good, im 100 % happy with it. I wanted the satin finish, but you can also go for a gloss finish.. And for that price that included the blasting of all the parts..
Only negative is scrapping the powdercoat out of all the places you don't want it, like all the threads and bearing surfaces.. no biggy though..

mate of mine got some wheels done a while back and it was about $120 or so for both. Bearing that in mind the wheels, frame and swingarm all for $250 I thought was fairly reasonable - and isnt sand blasting part of what has to be done to make the powdercoat stickSlow and wobbly wrote:I was going to say it sounded exxie - unless that includes blasting prior to powder coatingPhil wrote: and $250 sounds cheap to me.............

Looks great, just had mine resprayed 6mnths ago in impulse blue and rims sprayed in black, looks similar to yours.
Also had the pillion handles removed and holes filled, looks much better than original blue.
