So Jase, you're saying a "Re-active" battering is more efective than a "Pro-active" battering - cause you end up with the item (exhaust in this case)?

I may just subscribe to your theory... :D

If it turns to shit though, i'm sleeping on your new couch.

pesonnaly i've never found it to work. i've gone from "no way your getting a zrx12" to "well if you can find one at the right price" in a matter of weeks - its all about pointing out the advantages

giving up a vice or two doesnt hurt either

yep a reactive beating is better cause when she finds out and has the shits at me i can take off on the bike and enjoy the thing that got me into the shit in the first place :)

*chortle*

i guess being allowed to buy something as long as it doesn't screw up any bill payments is a good thing :).

Then again i didn't ask permission to buy the latest bike, i just said i'm getting one, you want to help me look & give your input? or am i goin' by myself? (queue a really cheeky grin and me wearing running shoes "in case" )

i emailed that indy superbike supply and they wont tell me a delivery price.

basically you have to submit your order first. so they can get fucked. they are likely to bill me another $200 for postage.

i reckon its gotta be JC motorcycles.

And Neka - i wear the pants in our relationship - but only when she isnt around.... and if she finds out i said that then im fucked :)

have got the akra ti slip-on for the 06 636

no complications in terms of fitting the original plate holder/original indicators- tho i opted for the fender eliminator and LEDS.

i ordered mine from http://www.starcycle.com

they were having a sale at the time and were the cheapest going- turn around was damn good.

coming from a bike with a loud exhaust, i am very happy to say that the stock muffler on the 05 636 is beautiful. i get to hear the engine and the sound that comes from the muffler is perfect with abit of a howling noise to it. sometimes i wish i had a nice akrapovic on mine when i want to show off but i personally i love it stock. :)

For the arrow slip on im about to buy, Indysuperbike quoted me $115 US to ship to Adelaide through USPS (includes transit insurance/guarantee) or $65 US through UPS (no insurance/guarantee).

So it can cost as little as $65 US but if something happens to your goods in transit then you may be up the creek.

Even so, I can get the arrow 350mm slip on (which I cant even find in Australia!) to my door for about $620 through USPS. The Aussie dollar is strong(er) at the moment so not a bad time to buy.
