Yeah, its a recurve. A left handed setup.
Not really into compounds myself.
Was looking for a bare recurve a while ago for hunting purposes,but that was before my funds got a bit low
, Nepean Bowhunters do scored trial hunts at Werrington once a month.
And Glen, I shoot guns too
, but you dont need a licence for a bow and arrow

I still have my compound i bought in '88 when i lived in Darwin.
A 65 lb 'Razorback' ,being the sook that i am any more than 65 lb/s back then was a big ask.
I've got my goats head mounted at home that i got while using it,(on a hunt near Cobar, NSW around '92 it was) only a 27" spread on the horns but it was a difficult hunt to get close with all the 'roos around.
I have not used it for a while now, as anyone who has bow hunted will know you need to be quiet, attuned to the surroundings and a good 'stalker' to be successful and bag any game.
