I hope you are talking PRE-03
I rode my 03 from Melbourne to Mt Gambier and my arse felt like my butt had been paddled by a team of body builders....
I think that's why he said "pre barra 03"

...and you were complaining about homoerotic innuendo then fantasize about having your arse paddled by bodybuilders?! :?

The ER is a V-twin so will suck more fuel compared to the same size engine in a IL4....

My Motard is a V-twin only a 450 and sucks fuel like horny hooker i only get 80km's max per tank and its 7litres
Built by craftsman, Designed by a genius, Ridden by a twat....

Yes, because it's not like the state of tune might have anything to do with fuel consumption. All that matters is the number and the layout of the cylinders.

On the PI trip last year,
My dad and i rode down from syd,

in every section (freeway, hills, town)
his Harley (massive f#@k off electraglide with all our crap tied to it) used exactly the same fuel at my Z1000, and i only had my vetura rack and bag on.

his tank was bigger, so we were filling when i needed too. (220km or so)

back on topic...

:? V-twin ?? Its a *parallel* twin mate........(Marco how did you miss that ??  )

Your motard is getting a bit more than 10km per litre, which is pretty normal consumption......its almost the same as my 12...
