That looks like one of those Transformer robot things my kids used to play with.

Hmmm, jury's out. If they were giving them away...maybe

looks good.
1400cc in a naked, lets hope they get it right and make it tough looking.
If they do this will dominate the naked category and take on the Suzi B-king when it comes out.

I'll wait a couple of years till the price comes down and I outgrow ZRX12, if It can be outgrown?

Well, 1400cc is a liittle bit much for me, but Jeff can have one!! (That way he can get rid of the Yamaha and have a real bike in the garage) :D
Cheers,
Anne

Cool!
Why don't they have the bike come out with fairings to put on and take off as desired, so really have the zzr1400/zx14 and the Z1400 as one transformer bike, it is not a new idea but I suppose that would be asking too much.

I think the engines might be tuned differently. A milder cam timing & slightly smaller exhaust ports might be present, which would lend itself to a better midrange at a sacrifice at the top end....

But then again it is a frigging 1.4 litre bike & would have gob fulls of torque anyway.

I'd suggest that if such a beast existed it would slot in between the Z1000 and the MT-01. No doubt tuned less for top end and more for bucketloads of low-down torque.Regardless.. I want.

Get this - not one of the guys at the local dealers had heard about this bike  (I didn't get to ask the boss.... :? ) - but they all seemed pretty *surprised*

wonder if it has that poxy 4-4 setup :x :x sorry all you guys with stock NM Z1000's (NM - New Millenium - just so we don' t get it confused with a *real* Z1000   ) - but I just get quite an ill feeling when I see those *standard* 4-4's.........its just not cricket old bean.......

Aren't they like 4-2-4s or 4-1-4s or something? Anyway I kinda liked em, but as always number one priority with a new bike is to get a better exhaust system on it.

I like the idea of a Z1400, if it is true it is good to see Kwaka bringing out a bunch of new bikes, despite the flogging they cop for it here! 8)
