Toy Pickup in Northcote (Vic)

Last year the MRAA had contact from an old aged peoples home in Northcote to pick up some toys. This year it's on again, was arranged for Dec 7th at 7pm, now Channel 9 have got a whiff of it and they want to film it so time has changed to Nov 30th at 9am.

I'm expecting a phone call from the producer of Postcards next Tuesday at which time details will be nutted out in their entirety, any and all welcome. Bikes will need to be decorated.

Bump: Still yet to hear from Channel 9's producer of Postcards

but if I hear nothing more then 30th Nov at 9am is on.

Thanks to GPX Lainie who rocked up on the kermit bike. Was a good fun morning, nice profiteroles. Most rewarding for the participants, residents were raving about it all day.

One senior MRA member has probably arranged conjugal (sp) visits. Most rewarding of all was in doing a u turn so the camera could get a good shot of us riding in, we encountered a blind boy who heard the bikes and followed us in with his mum.

Sat him on a few bikes and he spent considerable time revving crap out of a Hardley and thoroughly enjoyed himself, kinda makes ya go weak at the knees, moments like that are just pricelsss.

I really didn't think being on TV was so bloody hard though

mmmmmm Lucky we had a hot looking host

The little boy almost brought me to tears, I have photos of him and look at them often he truely is amazing.
