Great shots.

I can get off the bike more on rights than lefts so have no problem wearing the right slider down in T1, Honda, up past the hayshed and MG. (I only do it because I want to, not need to :))

Oh look, he pointing the camera at me - stick that knee out  (Honda cnr)

yep Nova
one of the better bike tips
..look where you are going or wanna go

however
it does have a downside
object fixation when under stress can cause you
to ride into that pole or tree
GOTTA LUV the 12R!!

Is it advisable on the road though ?

I always look only 10-20m ahead for crap like gravel, tree bark, roo, etc. Looking through the corner does make the bike stable but I won't notice the debris.

Andi
Can I suggest that 10m is not enuff distance to avoid
something on the road, especially at night or travelling
at highspeed on a freeway or country road.
Try scanning the road surface as you look a bit
further up the road

You should be looking as far ahead as possible, looking for indicators as to which way the next corner (and if possible corners after that) is going to go. Scan back from there. You'll see hazards with plenty of warning and corners wont suprise you.

Look where you want to go, you'll go there / you'll go where you're looking.

The further you look ahead, the slower things happen and you have more time to react. You can take in a lot more.

(Try it with it dashed centre lines - the further you look ahead the slower you seem to approach them, look at them just infront of the bike and they're whizzing past).

I think you mean it sucks that Philip Island is in Victoria.

I've always said that Philip Island would be a great place to visit if it wasn't for the fact that it's subjected to Victorias crap weather! Maybe we can start up a petition to have it moved?

Mike, I didn't need to see the pics for the GP. I was there. I couldn't work out what the hell was going on, thought PI must have drifted a little closer to the SA border.
