wow, thats really sad. Ms Worth will certainly live with a death on her conscience, and without knowing the full circumstances, its easy to lay blame.......but I just shake my head at a jury who could acquit in 2 hours ??????? How could this be ????

Maybe an angry mob of bikers outside Ms Worth's place would let her know how we feel. Squeeze front brake and let her rip. Fill her house with 3 days of tyre smoke.....

PS. Remove number plates first

beryl wrote:dont think we are getting the full story on that one, when they say the car mounted the median strip was that because she spiled coffee on her lap or because of mechanical failure or some other unforseen reason.

Which side of the road where the bikers on?

for a jury to aquit her they are saying it wasnt her fault basicaly so who knows if there was a old peice of pallet or something she hit that caused the problem?

Just pointing out that she got a not guilty and we may have got half the story.
ok..ill admit i dont kno the full story as to WHY she jumped the median strip..but i do kno (there were witnesses)..that he wasnt doing nething wrong, just plodding along at the speed limit, in the correct lane etc...

If she did swerve because she spilt coffee on her lap that just makes it worse!!! Can't stand negligent drivers, or worse, crap drivers. If you are half paying attention to the road you can do big sideways around a corner whilst holding an iced coffee ;)

Not that I have ever done that, or tried to :P Especially on a dirt road - around the corner from my place.

Nope, definitely not...

Oh and of course we don't know the whole story, but it's still odd that someone gets off free after killing someone, regardless of the circumstances. I'm not going to pass judgement on her because it's not my place, but i do think that it shows there is this general perception in the community that if you are riding a motorcycle you should accept that you might get killed and that it's no one else's fault but your own for being on the motorbike.
